It’s a great honor to welcome an influential songwriter of songs recorded by the greatest singers in many genres from soul, blues, rock and country. Aretha Franklin, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Box Tops, Conway Twitty, Percy Sledge and Janis Joplin have all put their stamp on songs he wrote.
Dan Penn’s records are a treat to listen to. His vocals are one of a kind. His latest album “Living on Mercy” is out now on CD and digital with a vinyl record version coming soon.
