The legendary composer Charles Fox is an inductee of the Songwriters Hall of Fame. He wrote the music for such songs as “I”ve Got a Name” recorded by Jim Croce, “Killing Me Softly” recorded by Roberta Flack, “Ready to Take a Chance Again” by Barry Manilow and many more. He’s written with some of the greatest lyricists, from Norman Gimbel to Paul Williams.
This interview, recorded for the radio, was conducted shortly after the publication of his autobiography “Killing Me Softly: My Life in Music.” It was an honor to speak with one of the greatest composers in American music!
