Carmen Beecher is a real artist and is the most current guest on The Paul Leslie Hour. A talented painter and illustrator, she grew up in a small town in Florida. Beecher’s work has been expressed through a variety of avenues: book illustrations, comic strips, magazine covers and murals. She also wrote and illustrated a children’s book.

Carmen Beecher collaborated with Hall of Fame songwriter Bobby Braddock in creating the 2020 book COUNTRY MUSIC’S GREATEST LINES: Lyrics, Stories & Sketches from American Classics. The book is a close-up look of 81 beloved American country music songs. Each song is described in a short written essay by Braddock, the opposite page features an accompanying illustration by Beecher.
