Jimmy Payne is a special guest on The Paul Leslie Hour!

The guest on this episode is, indeed, a great singer-songwriter. Jimmy Payne is the co-writer of the song “Woman, Woman,” a multi-million seller, among others. We all know “Woman, Woman” as made famous by Gary Puckett & The Union Gap, but Jimmy Payne has also written songs recorded by Charley Pride, Glen Campbell, Tammy Wynette, Connie Smith, Bill Anderson, Ray Price, Jim Glaser, Donnie West, The Lettermen and many others.

As a recording artist in his own right, he has released six albums. As a performer, Jimmy Payne has performed at such renowned stages as the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas, the Wembley Festival in England and the famed Grand Ole Opry and many places around the world.

Jimmy Payne was kind enough to check in with The Paul Leslie Hour. It’s a genuine, down-home conversation with a warm, musical man. You’ll enjoy this look at the man, his world and his music.
